On this site I will start to gather all kinds of information about archery. I know I will not re-invent the wheel here, and it most likely is not very original mostly. Why then?
I have given archery classes for a very long time now, and in this time I learned more about archery technique, teaching technique, problems and misunderstandings, equipment, equipment tuning, different styles, different bows, and so on. You can read about my My History with archery by clicking this link. Of course I always get the same questions all the time repeatedly and in the beginning I formulated each response individually, then over time I started to make templates for often used texts and now it is time I just make it public and instead of having to copy/paste my templates I now want to just point to this site and I can say: all you need to know is probably there, I gathered it there, curated it, and now you can just read it here instead me copying my text over and over again.
Of course, this will also take a little while, until I converted all the texts from all the different formats (word, powerpoint, excel lists, …) I have it at the moment and integrate it piece by piece into this site and while I’m at it, sort and polish it.
Further Contents:
On this site you will find further information about me as a trainer and how to book training hours with me. I will also include general archery information there, that is not only interesting for the AHS participants, like my take on shopping recommendations, bow setup or general archery tips.
The link to AHS Bogensport is mostly meant for all my university club participants to find further information. But also interested future participants find all kind of information there.
I am also a member of two archery clubs, Bogenwelt Team, my main team I also start for at competitions, and BSC Stuttgart, where I also practice myself mostly. For both I am available as trainer, too.
